We are proud and delighted you to celebrate with us as we honor Dr. Patricia Broderick O.P., 63 at our 2019 Alumni Hall Of Fame And Reunion Celebration. Dr. Broderick will be receiving our Hall Of Fame Award as an alumna who professionally and personally has made a significant difference in our community.
St. Thomas Aquinas College is thrilled that Dr. Broderick will be joining the distinguished members of our Alumni Hall Of Fame who carry out the mission of their Alma Mater – “Enlightening the Mind Through Truth.” The induction of the honorees will be the evening of Friday, January 25, 2019, at the Park Ridge Marriot, Park Ridge, NJ. The program will include a cocktail reception, dinner, and of course a wonderful night with STAC friends, alumni, faculty and inspirational honorees!
Dr. Patricia Broderick O.P. ’63 is an inventor, Researcher, and Medical Professor in Molecular Cellular and biomedical science at The City University of New York School of Medicine and professor in Neurology at NYU-Langone Medical Center. She is also founder of Eazysense Nanotechnologies Inc. Dr. Broderick has invented, patented and trademarked a revolutionary technology that will change the way we understand the brain. Some medical doctors have stated that THE BRODERICK PROBE® will change the face of science and medicine.
In recognition of her pre-eminent status in the field, Dr. Broderick was the keynote speaker at the 30th Annual Congress on Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials in Stockholm, Sweden. Her talk, entitled “A Live Imaging Nanotechnology: Sensing the Brain from Spectral Analysis to Neuromolecular Imaging to Voltaic Photonics,” Focused on the Broderick Probe®. Dr. Broderick has spent a career working on neurodegenerative diseases like epilepsy, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, as well as bio psychiatric conditions like anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders. In addition to her keynote address at the biggest annual gathering of nanotech experts in the world, Dr. Broderick penned the welcoming letter to Congress participants – a distinction, she noted, that’s never extended to the keynote speaker.
